UROCKS Jakarta Fashion Week 2015 by Billy Tjong ft. Heavenly Blush

Two weeks ago I attended the annual Jakarta Fashion Week. I was invited by Female Daily to attend the UROCKS UFM Fashion Week by Heavenly Blush, WRP and Bow by Billy Tjong. I don't normally enjoy high fashion so I was glad to see some casual and street fashion. That night Billy Tjong presented three of his collections, one of them was inspired by Heavenly Blush. They're more wearable in my opinion and I like the simple but catchy design with the colorful splatters.

Unfortunately I got the second row seat so my view kinda got blocked by some and couldn't photograph closely. But I still could watch the amazing dresses and found some that I really liked. For the first part it was the Bow by Billy Tjong with vibrant colors like green, blue, yellow and pink. It's more of everyday wear too which looks casual but fun.

And the third part was dresses Billy Tjong designed inspired by Heavenly Blush. It's all white with splattered design in many colors. It's really cute.

I got a cute pouch bag from Heavenly Blush filled with strawberry (my favorite!), blackcurrant and peach yogurt. I actually have the strawberry yogurt at least couple times a week cause it's always being displayed prettily in the mini mart grocery store I often go to. And strawberry is my favorite flavor.

I think it's really important to consume yogurt cause our body needs some decent amount of good bacteria and yogurt totally provides some of those good bacteria that we need. Some of the benefits we get from consuming yogurt is to avoid osteoporosis as it has calcium and vitamin D, reduce the risk of high blood pressure, help gastrointestinal conditions such as lactose intolerant, diarrhea, constipation, colon cancer and more. And especially for us women, yogurt is really helpful to prevent the risk of yeast infection! Another great thing is, I snack a lot, like A LOT, and most snacks can be up to 150-200 calories per intake sometimes lol and Heavenly Blush is only 100 calories which is great and can replace the heavy snack I used to have. Yogurt helps to make me feel fuller tpo. It's my great savior especially when my stomach growls in the middle of the night.

So I was overjoyed when I got three more yogurt in stock. I've never tried the blackcurrant and peach flavors before but they taste really nice too, not too sweet and definitely not that bland. Once I finished them all, I stock more blackcurrant in the fridge now.

And I end up babbling more about the yogurt, but that's cause I simply love them especially the ones from Heavenly Blush I had to write more thoroughly than I had to.

Oh! I also met Rini and Via before the show and it was a lot of fun. Plus, I just noticed while posting this photo, that three of us wear lace haha. We had more selfies on our phones, and posted them on our instagram accounts lol.

Well, that's all for now I shall post the other article soon!

Jakarta Fashion Week 2015 Billy Tjong ft. WRP

Like I mentioned on my previous post, I attended the Jakarta Fashion Week 2015 to watch Bow by Billy Tjong show. And this time I will share more about the dresses he designed that was inspired by WRP. As WRP is a diet milk, Billy Tjong designed his pieces in WRP trademark color, orange ish red to emphasize the slim figure. He came up with many dresses that are chic and fabulous but still casual and comfortable to wear. The first photo is one of my favorite dresses, along with this collage below.

These dresses are my next favorites from Billy Tjong WRP collection. They look stylish, simple and beautiful with the red dress. I love the one piece dress on the right the most, simply cause it's gorgeous and not a tight fit lol.

I also got some goodies from WRP, jelly drink, WRP on the go, and a mug. I've tried WRP diet milk and cookies before, but it was my first time trying the jelly drink. I don't know where I got the idea but I've thought it was honey and I hate honey lol. Fortunately it's not honey. It's a jelly drink (like the name suggests) rich of healthy fibers and tastes pretty good and sweet. While WRP on the go is a perfect diet milk for people on the go. Each contains 2 cartons of drinks. With such low calories, they're a perfect combination to help anyone to lose weight and it's a "sure you can do" thing.

Let's Stay Connected and Band Together

Probably some of you know (as I mentioned before) that I never let go of my phone. Not even when I'm outside, walking, on the way to some places (not driving though), and basically anywhere. I can't be separated with my phone. People around me think I'm too attached to my phone and I know it. While I also like to read and follow some websites, check and reply emails, and social media, the top reason why I need my phone is to communicate with friends. I have several friends I chat with everyday on several different apps, which can be confusing for me and sometimes I tend to forget which messages I haven't checked and replied since I have too many chat apps. And with all those chat apps running in the background, it really drains my phone battery.

I've always asked myself how neat would it be to have all of them in one app? But then my friends have different phones and preferences. Some don't like the apps I like, some say the app I chose didn't work that well on their phone, while some prefer the app they always use.

But then I found BAND. It is more than just a group app for me and let me show you why.

ABOUT BAND

  • BAND is a group communicating app that allows you to stay social, organized and in touch with the groups that matter in your life.
  • You can use BAND to come together with a few friends or 1,000 to make a Band for any of your communities, small or large! Use BAND for your blog, family, your school newspaper, your running club, your sorority and many others groups to share, communicate, and organize activities.
  • BAND moves beyond chat and messaging functionality to keep your group in the loop with a full suite of free tools.  It allows for traditional posting and chat, as well as group polling, community calendars, file sharing and photo albums.
  • For greater convenience, users also have the ability to access their Bands on desktop.
  • BAND currently has 35 Million+ users!

FEATURES

On Band, you can create band(s) full of your favorite people. You can choose the band cover to your liking which suit your band's style and personality, then invite as many band members/friends you like to be in the conversation.

When you click the band, you can see the feed on the band board. Band board is the home-base for your band allows members to keep up with post something of their own. Every member can share text, photos, videos, gifs, PDFs, location, stickers, Dropbox files, and vote on group polls. Band also helps your group communicate across platforms, upload files for group to open either on their phone, or download to their desktop through Band’s web.

All group members can join the group conversation, send stickers and send voice messages. The tab on the top of the board also allows me to access each function easier.

One of the features I love from Band is the group photo album. All members can upload and share pictures on the group album. It'll be posted on the feed automatically which everyone can comment as well. You can upload up to 100 pictures at a time and it's just easier to backtrack who posted which pictures and see them all separately from the group chat.

There's also a notification page where you can see all the messages and notifications. But my most favorite feature is probably the shared calendar. I'm a really forgetful person. I don't even use my phone calendar and reminder cause pretty much it isn't that useful for me. When the alarm ring and notifies me, I just tend to either failed to see it cause I'm busy with other opened app, or be lazy and dismiss it cause it's not the time yet. But with shared calendar, my friends or boyfriend can remind me again when it's on. Yesterday was my monthversary with my boyfriend (which I usually forgot almost every month) but I didn't and managed to send something for him on time.

Overall, this app is my favorite chat app at the moment cause it beats other chat and group apps I used before. No need to scroll up just to see the pictures I've missed during group chat. While Facebook group is nice, but I can't count how many times I missed any of my group updates because my feed and notification is filled with other groups, pages and other friends updates and comments. Band app helps me and my friends stay on the same page, vote for something we need agreement on though polls feature, get the same files through file sharing, don't miss any event pictures and new picture albums, and more importantly accessible anytime and chat faster.

Download Band app on iTunes Appstore& Google Playstore and start connecting with your favorite people!

Missha M Prism Wave Blusher Review

It's been a long while, but hello again everyone! Today I'm back with a new blush review. I think after blogging for nearly 2 years, it's my second time to post a blush review. That's cause I didn't really use a lot of blush in the past. I probably only have around 4-5 blushes in my makeup drawer (it paled in comparison with my foundation/BB/CC creams collection). Anyway, I still remember the first time I got my first ever blush when I was in high school. I got a pink blush from Missha and I was in love with it until it emptied and I couldn't afford a new one cause it was around $30 back then and as a student I couldn't really get a new one lol. So relieving those sad sweet moments in the past, I got another pink blush from Missha. It's called Missha M Prism Wave Blusher. The pink shade was nearly similar to the first blush I had before. Actually my past blushers have been pigmented and too pigmented which is actually great for photoshoot. But not so great when I go out cause then people would stare lol. So this time around, I think I would try a more sheer blusher and picked this one. And compared to my first ever blush, this blush is way way more affordable. So before I babble more nonsense, let's just go to the full review and pictures.

Actually I'm quite surprised when I opened it cause the box alone is already pretty big. And when I opened the box packaging, the compact is as big. But hey I love makeup in big packaging lol it means it'll last longer, I hope. The packaging might not be so travel friendly, however it is still not heavy.

missha pinkblush

missha pink blush

The compact comes with a mini brush. The curved brush handle looks so much like Bourjois blusher brush. It is quite dense and also the bristles are soft. I still use my regular Sigma brush though, just cause I'm more used to it. The thing I love about the compact in first glance is that it comes with big enough mirror. It's a big help seeing most of my blushers are quite small and don't have any mirrors attached.

missha pinkblush

There's a plastic separator on top of the blush to store the brush. I still keep this separator as it is pretty helpful so the brush it comes with won't pick up the blush and it won't accidentally damage the blush either. Yes though I mostly use my usual brush when I'm at home, but when I bring this blusher around, I tend to use the curved brush cause it's more convenient.

missha pink blush

This is how the blusher looks like. It has 2 blush shades. One is the shimmery pink blush while the other one is more of a pink highlighter. When both are blended and applied, you get a beautiful shimmery pink on your cheeks.

It looks like this when blended and distributed evenly on the back of my hand. It is less pink and more shimmery in my opinion. It is pretty for evening events and night out, but it's pretty sheer and almost invisible during the day unless I apply a bunch of them. Bu it is beautiful and subtle for people who don't really like to wear overly pigmented blush that looks too obvious.

missha pink blush

PROS
- Sheer (can be a con too for some people)
- Comes in a compact with a brush
- Pretty shades of pink with shimmers
- Can be either sheer blush or just highlighter, or both
- Affordable

CONS
- Might not be travel friendly
- Not for people who like pigmented blusher

OVERALL
While this Missha M Prism Wave Blusher isn't my usual cup of tea, but I have to admit I really like the shade of pink of this Glam Pink. And no matter how many times I swipe, it just won't look like I applied too much which can be both positive and negative for some people. But for people who adores sheer blush with more shimmers, this is the one for you. The blusher can be used as shimmery blush, highlighter or both.  It suits everyday use too as I apply this to work, every 2 days in a week at least cause it looks my dull sleepy face looks brighter and more glowy with a hint of pink. I only swirl a bit and make sure I don't apply too much cause I don't want my cheeks to look too shiny at work. I also use this blusher on days I need to go out, but still want to look subtle (and glowy lol). Usually when I have too thick eye makeup with ultra thick falsies.

Etude House 6th Anniversary & Magic Any Cushion Launching Event

At the end of October, I was invited to Etude House Indonesia 6th Anniversary which also happened to be Etude House Magic Any Cushion launching event. Yes it was nearly 2 months ago so sorry for this late post. I guess some also have read on other beauty bloggers posts lol but for the sake of blogging, I don't think I should skip this belated post.

Once I got there, I scanned the room and saw the adorable pink decorations that were so Etude House. There were some products on display too. Those are the new released products that were being launched. The main purpose of this event is not only to celebrate the 6th anniversary but also the launching of the new Etude House products, like Magic Any Cushion, Play Nail series, Play 101 Pencil, Color Lips Fit, Every Month Cleansing Foam, Skin Note Mask, Mini Perfumes, and Oh Happy Day Hand Bouquet. If you're a follower of Etude House Korea releases, those products might not be entirely new but for Indonesians who don't get the access to Etude House brand new releases, this launching could be a new heaven as there are quite a lot of new arrivals this time. I already tried and reviewed one of the new launched products which is Etude House Play 101 Pencil back then in August, which I really love and adore.

Now, before I get more in details to some of the new releases, I will show you more about the event first.

The event was opened and Etude House Indonesia's general manager spoke up about the new released products, and especially more about Etude House Magic Any Cushion. As cushion makeup is all in the rage these days, Etude House also added one more cushion makeup to its line which is the Magic Any Cushion. It is a makeup base in cushion form, the new revolution using cushion cell trap technology. Its main purpose as a light base and primer to even out skintone. There are 3 different types and colors released: peach, pink and mint.

etude house indonesia

All pastel colors with the packaging that looks like macaroon. As usual the packaging is surely appealing, especially to us girls. It is light and easy to use with just few pats on the skin. So people who usually on the go can always find this easy to use. It has nearly similar size as the previous Etude House Precious Any Cushion. She also explained that this product is a 6 in 1 product that helps to brighten skin, correct tone, protect skin from UV, reduce fine lines, cool skin down, and lighten the skin.

Then Etude House Korea's Business Development Representative, Chris Choi, also added that aside of the Magic Any Cushion, they also released the other best selling products from Korea. The most unique one is Play 101 Pencil, a multi function pencil that works as lipstick, lip liner, eyeshadow, eyeliner, blush, eyebrow, and even concealer. It is seriously a must have product, I highly recommend it if you haven't tried it yet. You can see my review here

Then the Korean Etude House makeup artists went to do a demo using Etude House Magic Any Cushion and Play 101 Pencil on the models. The three models have different skin tone each and they showcased how each type of Magic Any Cushion have different tone and function for different skintones.

The Magic Any Cushion gives quite dewy finish that looks natural and looks like you don't put on much makeup. Though I don't think it would do much for people with acne and blemishes (like me). But it is pretty good as makeup base.

The models also had their nails painted by using Etude House Play Nails. Isn't it cute?

How cute is the decorations? I just had to share the cuteness. And, if you live in Indonesia, I'm sure you can find the new products in the stores now. Gradually they will add more colors each month, especially for Etude House Play 101 Pencils and Play Nails as they have tons of colors.

I also met Miharu Julie and Jean Milka in the event, and some other beauty bloggers. Excuse my bad roots please lol.

These are the new products I got from Etude House. I only tried the cleansing foam and Magic Any Cushion so far and I love them especially the Every Month Cleansing Foam, I got March and it is lovely! I love the scent and makes my skin feels soft and plump after face wash. I will review them separately sometime soon. But that's all for the Etude House Anniversary and Launching Event. I will be back again with another product review very soon.

Have a lovely weekend, everyone!

Skin Watchers Success Sunblock Review

Hello! It's Christmas Eve, and finally I can sit down and have time to write another review. This time it's another product from Skin Watchers. Few months ago I raved about my most favorite pore mask from this brand which is the Skin Watchers Cooling Pore Mask. It is still my HG pore mask, so I don't have any hesitation trying another product from Skin Watchers when I got the chance. While I don't usually apply sunblock (bad I know) but I was very curious about this sunblock as I read the description online and it seems like an interesting one.

I never felt the need to apply sunblock cause I barely go out under the sun since I'm stuck in an office room nearly all day before the sun comes up and until dawn. The only time I need sunblock was when I had to travel to Bali, since I don't really do outdoor activities either lol. But I know that no matter what, under the sun or not, our skin needs to be protected from the UV. I started to notice my neck is more tanned than my face and chest and I still don't know why. But I guess it has something to do with the sun. So when I got this on the mail a while ago, I was just excited and began using it on my skin and under my makeup everyday before I go out.

Now let's see more about Skin Watchers Success Sunblock after the jump.

The ingredients list

PROS
- Lightweight and travel friendly
- Absorb quick
- Not sticky
- Doesn't feel greasy
- Does its job well
- Oil free, paraben and talc free

CONS
- none so far

OVERALL
It is a sunblock with 50 SPF that absorbs quickly and very lightweight. Once applied and absorbed, it doesn't feel sticky nor greasy on the skin. It is free from talc, paraben, artificial coloring, benzo phenone, alcohol and phenoxyetha nol. It's also completely oil free so it is good for people with oily skin. Most face makeup these days have 50 SPF so in addition to that, this sunblock makes me feel so much safer now when I have to walk in a sunny day without having to cover my face (yes I do that lol) from the sunlight. I also use the sunblock on my arms and especially neck. At least now my neck is more protected and not getting more and more tanned each day so I gotta say this sunblock helps me a lot and is what I really need.

WHERE TO GET
Jolse for $17.58 (they offer only $2.5 worldwide shipping and they're still having up to 70% discount on all products until Dec 25 so come grab em)

no need to cover my face anymore :D
Thank you for reading and merry Christmas, everyone! See you on the next posts~~

Laneige Brush Pact Pore Blur Review

$

First off, happy new year, everyone! Glad I can finally write a post again. Though technically, I've drafted this post since December last year but I'm glad I can share this post today. If you're a Laneige fan, I'm sure you've seen or maybe tried this product I'm going to review today. Laneige released this Brush Pact few months ago. At first I wasn't too sure if I'd like to try it out until Ashley convinced me. She reviewed this Brush Pact in pink beam on her blog which you can also read here

But the one I'm going to review today is no 2 pore blur, which is specially created for people with pore problems (me included). If you don't know already, this brush pact is basically a portable pressed powder that's designed to make our touch up easier on the go. Though I always have my blotted powder with me in my pouch, there are times I'm too lazy to even take it out, open the compact while trying to keep the powder puff from falling (especially when I'm in a moving car), and press & roll the puff to blot my face. I am more comfortable blotting using my setting brush actually, but it'll take more work and time to grab my brush, pat it on the powder (again when I'm on the go) and apply it on my face. I'm lazy to do all that so I tend to skip it and let the world see how shiny I am, well in this case my Tzone. But thankfully, Laneige is such a lifesaver for me. Not only this is such a lightweight powder, but also it comes with an attached powder brush. I think this is one of my favorite makeup products right now.

Anyway, enough babbling and let's move on to the review shall we.

laneige brush pact pore blur

laneige pore powder

The box packaging is bulky and the typical Laneige silver and black packaging. And no english description on the box. Nothing new.

laneige pore powder brush pact

laneige pore blur powder

This is how the product looks like. In a glance, it looks like a normal brushes holder, right? The packaging is a simple white with silver head that's used to twist the brush.

The manufacture date and serial number.

laneige brush pact

This is how it looks like when it's opened. You open the brush pact by twisting it and the top part is the brush, while the bottom part is the powder pact. It's covered by protection seal so you know it's new.

laneige brush pact

The brush bristles are so soft and pretty dense. When you twist the silver head, the brush will pop out quickly and easily.

laneige brush pact pore blur

Eww right? I know lol. Well, I haven't used pore mask in a while (since before holiday I think) and my pores are kinda yucky at the moment. So with just moisturizer and CC cream, that's how my pores look like (though I think nobody would like to see it, but for the sake of honest review lol).

Anyway, the pores on my nose are pretty humongous and visible with some dryness here and there around my nose. And also some huge pores around my inner cheeks as well. So I just dab and brush my nose and cheeks with Laneige Brush Pact and since this is the pore blur one, it does its job well in blurring the pores. Please note, it doesn't make huuuuge pores disappear cause it'd be false advertisement. It does help concealing some pores, I have to admit that one, but it doesn't totally make all the huge pores invisible. It's already pretty good and better than what I expected to be honest. I thought MAC Blotting Powder was my HG powder for my skin simply because its powerful oil control, but it was never able to conceal my pores as good as this. Even though my face looked matte with it, but the pores are way too visible it always gave me bad skin in the pictures.

But this Laneige Brush Pact is what I always needed for pores concealing powder. It's lightweight, mattifying, and blurring pores. The only downside is its oil control. If it has better oil control, I would totally make this my HG powder among all. But that's what this brush pact is for, to touch up. With its packaging, touching up my face when it turns a bit shiny isn't a huge problem anymore even for lazy people like me. Though I think it's kinda accentuating dry skin too, so I don't think people with dry skin will be happy with this brush pact.

PROS
- Lightweight, very travel friendly
- Easy to use as blotting powder on the go that comes with a practical brush
- Soft bristles, doesn't irritate skin
- No scent whatsoever
- A little goes a long way
- Transparent
- Blurring pores pretty well

CONS
- So so oil control
- Might accentuate dry areas
- No mirror like most powder pacts

OVERALL
It's a portable powder pact that comes with easy to use powder brush without any hassle. It's quick to twist the brush out and use it. It's travel friendly and a little goes a long way. Its ability to conceal pores is pretty good. Big pores can be blurred quite well, though of course it's not fully covering huge pores cause that'd be unrealistic. The brush bristles are very soft and don't irritate my sensitive skin. But the downsides are it has average oil control that lasts me about 4-5 hours max before I start getting some shine. It's not the worst in terms of oil control but clearly not the best, it's just so-so in my opinion. Touch up is needed if you have combination or oily skin. But that's why this brush pact comes in handy. I have dryness around my nose and I notice this pact can sometimes accentuate those dry areas if I apply too much powder, so apply moderately. But it is perfectly covering the pores on my cheeks, that's my most favorite thing about this powder cause the pores on my cheeks are always so hard to cover with most oil free pore powders I own. So that's a big plus. The average oil control makes me take out one heart, though. Overall, this is a really nice powder that I can use on a rush anywhere without having to accidentally drop the powder puff or rummage the entire pouch to find the right brush. The price is also decent for Laneige. I know some Laneige products price tend to make my jaw drop sometimes, but this one is not cheap and definitely not expensive. So, my conclusion is if you have combination or pretty oily skin and would like to have easy to use powder to touch up during the day, this is the one for you.

Honest Skin Haul

Last month I received a box full of goodies from Honest Skin. Honest Skin is a Korean beauty store that sells authentic makeup and skincare straight from Korea. They have fairly cheaper price more than others and often have discount and promotion on most of their products. I got a lot of products to try from them from various brands like IOPE, Laneige, Etude House, Stylenanda 3CE, etc.

Now, let's see what I think about Honest Skin and some of the products I got.

A little more about Honest Skin. They don't offer free worldwide shipping, but their shipping fee is fair and affordable. Plus, they have reward system so when you purchased items, you can post up product review on their website and earn rewards which can cover for your next shipping fee. Reviewing a product with picture can earn you $2 reward point, how awesome is that?

I personally got the gift box within 3 weeks, that's quite standard since it's from Korea. It could be faster, but then again all my packages were late on December probably due to holiday season.

Anyway, this is all I got in the box.

1. Laneige White Plus Renew Trial Kit
2. IOPE Moistgen Special Gift Set
3. Etude House Color Lips Fit
4. Etude House Sunprise Sunblock
5. Its Skin Babyface Petit Blusher
6. Etude House Surprise Concealer
7. 3CE Creamy Waterproof Eyeliner
8. Etude House Color My Brows
9. The Faceshop Blueberry Mask
10. The Faceshop Rice Mask

Though too bad I don't think I can use Etude House Color My Brows since I got no 2 which is the medium brown and wouldn't fit my hair color as I always avoid dark eyebrow mascara and need lightest eyebrow possible lol. But the other products I received are lovely, and these two are my most favorites.

iope moistgen korean skincare

laneige white plus renew skincare

As I've been having dry skin recently (as mentioned in previous posts) these two skincare kits are really helpful for me. Laneige White Plus Renew trial kit consists of 4 items: essence, emulsion, skin refiner, and eye cream but they send 2 more extra samples for the essence. Well, I don't use both of them at the same time everyday though. I don't use the Laneige one long enough to see the whitening effect and honestly I don't wish to get more lighter as it would make me look more sick. However, I must say the eye cream is a must have. The sample contains too little product so I'm really considering to invest on the eye cream as it works really nicely on me so far.

IOPE Moistgen is also a gem! I like how they moisturize my skin, I use it at night and it's been lovely so far. I will probably write a separate in detail post on other products too.

Currently, Honest Skin is having 40% discount on all their products which you can check on their website here. You can also get 5% reward point on every order. They have a lot of new and popular Korean makeup and skincare so be sure to check them out. It may take a lot of time to decide which ones you'd get cause there are just too many lol but I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun for you Korean makeup fans. I wish Honest Skin will also add more products from other brands to their collection in the future :)

Thank you for reading and I'll post more soon. Have a great weekend, everyone :)

Gold and Stuff Accessories

*waves* As promised, I've been trying to catch up with pending posts, so here I am with another post today.

When it comes to accessories, I notice some people seem to wear white gold or silver more these days, myself included. The rings and necklace I wear daily (ones I never take off anywhere anytime) are also white gold. But personally, I prefer gold. Gold may seem vintage for some people, but maybe that's why I like it. Aside of the jewelry I got from my boyfriend, most of my accessories pieces I have are gold. A while ago, Born Pretty was kind enough to send me some pieces to wear and try. Unintentionally, I picked some more gold accessories: bracelets and few rings. I often wear the bracelets, nearly everytime I go out wearing white or pink, and that's quite a lot. Aside of white and pink, I often wear black outfit, so I picked the cute skull ring with heart eyes lol. It's just so cute and pretty. The other rings I picked were a set of gold band rings with purple and white jewels. They match really nicely with my triple purple hearts necklace I wear everyday.

Keep reading to see the pretty gold accessories I got :)

I received each pieces wrapped in good condition. Shipping took around 2 weeks, it's quite normal. And communication went great as always.

The skull ring somehow looks vintage in person with its gold and a bit rust lol. The rust isn't bad at all though, it gives the retro look even more. Plus the heart eyes are really cute. It's resizeable too. It's only $1.99 which you can get here.

This set contains 3 rings: a simple jewel cut ring, purple jewel, and butterfly ring. I can't see myself wearing three rings on each fingers so I tend to wear two rings together and they look pretty. I really like this ring set the most. I tried wearing all three rings on one finger, but it looks super weird on my short chubby finger so nah lol. Get this ring here for only $1.69

pink gold ribbon bracelet

Last but not least, a set of bracelets. It consists of 4 bangles, each with different style. When worn together, it looks so pretty and cute, perfect for my hime gyaru look. The pink ribbon, pearls, gold chains, and cute dangling ribbon. It gives a sweet and girly vibe. Best of all, it is only $2.99 on Born Pretty Store.

The rings look pretty with the gold caviar nail art as well. I got some compliments going out wearing the rings as they look cute and match my nail art, and even circle lenses lol also other purple stuff I wore that day. In case you're wondering, no I don't have any time doing nail art by myself nowadays I just resort to false nails (as it's quicker and easier to put on too for me who always on a rush). I got the false nails for extremely cheap on ebay bid lol.

Well, that's all for today hope you like this post. And don't forget to check out Born Pretty Store for cheap accessories. You can also use MLT10 code to get 10% discount on your purchase.

Kawaii Cuties

It feels like forever since I last posted something. I'm sorry for being mia for the past weeks, and months actually. I know I haven't been regularly posting like I used to. It's just some RL stuff keep me busy since end of last year. I haven't been in touch with most of my friends either during this time. Things were a little bit hectic but now I'm pretty much back. Hopefully I will be able to post more, I have so many things in store including many unedited product reviews ready to be reviewed and posted.

Anyway, today I will share about the parcel I received from Blippo a while ago. Previously I've posted some products from Blippo. But in case some of you and new readers don't know already, Blippo is an online store with a bunch of kawaii stuff collections from magazine, plushies, accessories, DIY snacks, phone cases, bags, and more from Japan and Korea. If you see their website, you'll see a lot of cute things you'd want to keep for yourself. They have fair and affordable prices for most of their products. Also, they ship worldwide so shopping isn't a hassle at all. Mika, their customer rep, is also very friendly and helpful if you ever need to ask something either about the products or orders. I've worked with them few times before and I have nothing but good things I always tell anyone who ask me about them or their products.

Now, let's see more of the kawaii stuff I got from Blippo :)

blippo kawaii strap stickers

One of the things I like about Blippo is most of their products are snacks and sweets related. They're either cute or squishy, or both. The 3D cupcake stickers are too adorable. It's pastels with cute designs. And look at the pink bitten popsicle with colorful sprinkles. It's a phone charm. The design and medium size will catch so many eyes. I can't put it on my iPhone somehow but I attach it on my purse. There was one time I put my purse on the desk and when some coworkers entered my office, they asked me why I put unfinished popsicle there lol my purse was black and they were few meters away from me so they thought it was real. I had to squish it to show them that it's not a real popsicle. Then they took turns to squish this little thing. I tell you it's addictive.

Anyway, click to get the squishy popsicle charm and cupcake stickers

Next, I have cute fluffy kitty plushie that looks as cute as furball. The furs are soft and fluffy. It makes everything looks cute when I attach it anywhere, either on bag, wallet, jeans. The nail set is my favorite ever. If you follow me on my social media, I uploaded my photos with this nail set. I got positive comments and mainly about the nails. I'm sorry to say that it's actually false nails.

The false nails are perfect for anyone who wants to have cute nails without having to spend tons of time decorating and worrying the nail art would chip and crumple. Get this watermelon false nails for only $4.43

Cocktail Dresses Are Forever

Hello, everyone. I'm back again today with a style ideas post. During my hiatus, I got a couple of requests to post more about style ideas that I haven't done in a long time. So here it is :)

As someone who prefers to be overdressed than underdressed, I tend to wear dressy outfit whenever I go out. Whether it's to meet a friend or family lunch, or even a dinner date, casual cocktail dress will always be my top pick. I personally think cocktail dress is easy to mix and match with casual accessories and cute jacket or cardigan. The dresses are also more wearable to casual events as well, and not only exclusive to cocktail or semi formal parties.

While browsing the other day, I found some pretty dresses that fit to my casual dressy dress genre and had to share it. Here are some of my favorite cocktail dresses

cocktail dress

This might be my top favorite. It's not casual for some, myself included. But it's a really pretty dress that with lovely blush color. The design is just gorgeous with the cutouts on the front and back. It's a stunning dress that would make anyone look your way. I can picture myself wearing it to a semi formal party, though I might want to pair it with a half blazer to cover some of the revealing bits if needed.

semi formal cocktail dress

I fell in love with this beige short dress in an instant and this is my second favorite in my list! The design is really simple with some jewels embedded on the neckline and around the shoulder. I have a very similar looking dress in black that I have for years now. I wore it in multiple occasions and styled it in few different ways that made it unrecognizable everytime I wear it. This beige dress can easily be worn alone or with different jackets or blazers and will still look gorgeous! The design is casual enough to wear and not restricted to parties only.

How lovely is this dress? The pink is also very pretty. I don't have much to say about this dress as it's pretty self explanatory, sweet, lovely and pretty. I wouldn't wear this one with any outer piece as it is pretty as it is. It seems comfortable too with the pleated skirt as it's not body hugging on certain areas so it'd be easier to breathe and eat lol.

If I want to be a little dressy and less casual, I'd pick this one. I especially adore the flowy chiffon skirt. It's just beautiful. While I'm not too fond of the shoulder strap, the front top does have a pretty design. This is perfect for semi formal events and I will definitely wear this to go to someone's wedding. I also find dusty blue color very pretty.

black semi formal cocktail dress

This last dress is not my least favorite, but I put it in the end for the wow effect lol. I personally think this dress screams gorgeous, flawless and bold but elegant to me. The material and design are really beautiful with the silver ish jewels embedded on the heart top. The bolero it comes with is also beautiful. You can't go wrong with mini black dress after all.

Those are my top 5 for affordable cocktail dresses from Dress Street. There are still so many other dresses, from cocktail dress, wedding dress, to prom dress, and obviously I can't put all of my favorites here cause the post will be never ending.

Which one is your favorite?

Beta Salic 2.0 Miracle Cream Review

It's been a while since I updated you with my latest skin. I used to complain all the time about my oily acne prone skin until around the end of last year and I noticed I stopped blogging about high coverage foundations and BB creams. It's all thanks to this Beta Salic 2.0 by Chica Y Chico. Sounds unfamiliar? It was my first time as well using this brand. Despite the name, apparently it's a Korean made by LAB & Company Inc.

Betaine Salicylate, the main ingredient of Beta Salic 2.0 controls the rough, troubled skin surface due to dead skin cells and oxidized sebum. It claims this mild yet satisfying skin conditioning cream gives clearer and softer skin back to you and you can feel the difference in the morning, hence the miracle cream nickname. That is such a strong claim! But I've been trying this facial cream every night for the past 2 months, and I can't be more happier.

Now let's get to know more about the Beta Salic 2.0

beta salic 2.0 miracle cream

miracle cream beta salic 2.0

As you can see in the box packaging, the description is mostly in Korean and there's only a small english description. I had a hard time to know more about this product before I used it 2 months ago. It also has a direction in english, "apply enough amount where needed or on the entire facial area as sole moisturizer or before other moisturizers." It strongly emphasizes us to apply during night care ONLY. And must avoid cosmetics of high concentrated vitamin C or scrub products during the use of this cream because scrubs might micro-scratch your skin and cause sensitivities if used along with Beta Salic. Also, applying sunscreen during the day is strongly recommended because AHA  removes damaged top layer of skin to regenerate new skin cells, which can increase sun sensitivity. And that's why sunscreen is very required in the daytime during the use of this cream.

It comes in a tube packaging worth 30ml of product. Since you only have to apply enough amount, a little goes a long way. It lasts me a little over 2 months.

Beta Salic 2.0 full ingredient safety level.
beta salic 2.0 ingredients
beta salic 2.0 ingredients
The ingredients in this product mostly have low hazard ingredients while a few have moderate, and the max being 4. It is specifically made for people with sensitive skin in mind. And it is free from artificial perfume (yay to no scent!), artificial colorant, talc, benzop henone, and sulfate.

Also, check it's still sealed to make sure it's brand new :)

The cream looks thick and white, but it is very lightweight and turns transparent after applied and blended. I normally just use pea size for the needed areas. The texture is not sticky, but rather like a soft light cream. It absorbs quickly to the skin with its micro molecular structure. It does give me tingling sensation in some sensitive areas but that only lasts a few seconds. Although, it's very recommended that people with overly sensitive skin doesn't use the cream everyday but less than 2-3 times a week.

PROS
- Lightweight
- Quick absorption and not sticky
- Easy application
- Gives smooth and softer skin in short time
- Softens redness
- Calms big active acnes
- For all skin types
- Not irritating if used properly according to its direction

CONS
- Gives tingling sensation on sensitive skin, so moderate your use
- Not available everywhere

OVERALL
Though it says you just need to apply over a night, I don't really think it's best to use it one night. It does work over night, but it doesn't remove all acne or skin problems in one night, that's for sure. I don't wanna give false hope here. I felt my skin feels softer and less harsh in one night, that much is true. But for more clearer skin I tried for a week and took a before after picture.

As you can see in the before picture everything looks really bad. Dull skin, active acnes, redness, flakes around nose. And after one week, almost no redness, active acnes are all gone only the scars left, and better looking skin overall. I know it still doesn't look that amazing but trust me it's smooth  and soft when I touch my skin. Normally active acnes other zits on my face won't disappear until at least 2 weeks and leave more apparent redness which make my whole face look irritated and red. But Beta Salic 2.0 simply amazed me with its results in short time. However, since I want a longer smooth skin I still use it until it's emptied. After having softer skin, applying makeup gets so easier and quicker. I don't use concealer or high coverage foundation anymore now yay.

RECOMMENDED FOR
- All skin types including dry yet oily skin (like mine)
- People who suffers from flakes and cakey makeup
- Acne prone skin
- People with dead skin cells
- and generally everyone who wants a better looking skin

Prom Dress Ideas 2015

Spring is finally here for some of us. Spring reminds us that prom season is coming soon! Every girl wants to look stunning and confident in their fabulous dress in prom night. Well, who doesn't? Whether you're coming to prom to have a lovely night with your date, or if you're going to have fun with your favorite girlfriends and enjoy the moment, I'm sure we all want to look gorgeous and nearly perfect on the big night. Either black, blue, red, silver, pink or beige... Have you found your perfect dress? Or at least have you looked up some dress ideas that would help you to find that right dress? If you haven't, let me share some of my favorite dresses on this post.

prom dress a line

How lovely is this long dress? It's a perfect empire waist dress for apple pear shaped body made of chiffon. What I love the most about chiffon dresses is it looks very beautiful when it's blown by the wind, or sometimes... air conditioner. The silver embellishment is another extra that makes the dress a perfect pick for your special night.

This gorgeous dress will be a perfect dress to flaunt your toned legs. The triple silver belts stand out the most and matching the dress with shining silver accessories would complete your look.

Another lovely empire waist dress. It's strapless and sequined with the heart front top. I love the short front skirt and long back skirt. It makes walking more easier too, no need to hold and raise your long skirt everytime you're about to walk. It's also made of chiffon and I can picture how beautiful it will be during the dance. Personally, I wouldn't say no this one dress.

If you're one who doesn't like princessy ball gown or fancy dress with long drapes and jewelry, you might want to try the slim elegant mermaid dress. It is sequined, but it still looks classy and simple. The dress will look gorgeous on hourglass, rectangle, and pear shaped ladies as well. Personally, I love the golden dress the most out of the three. It's just flawless and a gorgeous one for the big night.

Those are my top four picks for prom dresses and of course there are more beautiful dresses out there which you can also check yourself on wepromdress.com. They have various dress collections, not only affordable prom dresses, but also evening gowns and wedding gowns.

Thank you for reading and let me know what kind of dress you'd wear to prom dress below :)

Sulwhasoo CC Emulsion Review

I promised myself I'd post this review since a month and half ago. I've taken the pictures and I was always too lazy to edit and watermark them for some random reasons. But finally I did it today whohoo so yay here it is, everyone. My holy grail CC cream ever, Sulwhasoo CC Emulsion. Well, it doesn't exactly say CC Cream but it feels like one to me. When I read the words CC emulsion, I thought it would be a lighter version of CC Cream, and to me it sounded like less coverage and more moisturizing. Anyhow, I had my doubts at first before I decided to get it. If you follow Korean cosmetics, surely Sulwhasoo isn't an unfamiliar brand to you. Sulwhasoo is in fact one of the brands under Amore Pacific. I know Sulwhasoo doesn't come in cheap price, but that's because it focuses on mixing herbal traditional medicine with science, hence the high quality products. Their skincare lines are so popular and many of them are best selling. The first time I opened my eyes to this brand was when I tried the trial kits of their Time Treasure skincare around last year. It was small but the lotion was so heavenly to my skin.

Luckily there were so many online stores here carrying Sulwhasoo nowadays, and there's also Sulwhasoo in Indonesia now so I can try the other products easily without any risks of the products I ordered online with hefty price get taken away by customs (not again). So I decided to purchase the CC Emulsion cause now that my skin got a bit better, I don't really use much high coverage foundation or creams at the moment. And I am trying to use less face covering products and also trying to find makeup that's comfortable on my skin while healing my scars. And finally, this is the one. I've been using Sulwhasoo CC Emulsion every morning for 3 months now (and still not emptied yet!), and I'm loving it. Now, let me show you what makes me love this product along with the things I love and less like about it.

sulwhasoo cc cream emulsion review

sulwhasoo cc emulsion cream review

There's not much information on the box packaging except for the price, 60,000 won (around $60) and that it contains SPF 34 PA++ and I got the #1 Pink Beige shade. I believe there are 2 shades available: #1 pink beige and #2 medium beige. I know this CC emulsion isn't for everyone because of the limited shades they have. Though from what I read medium beige can be for people with warm skintone too.

sulwhasoo cc emulsion cream review

It also comes with a mini booklet with english descriptions and directions.

sulwhasoo cc emulsion cream review

sulwhasoo cc emulsion cream review

It comes in a tube packaging with plastic cap. The packaging reminds me of Missha BB cream, just in different color.

sulwhasoo cc emulsion cream review

The pump dispenser is really nice and smooth. It dispenses product just the right amount and precisely when it's pumped. I know it's a simple thing but there are some products with crappy pump dispensers that dispense too much or too little product which can be annoying to some (me lol). But this is not it.

It is said that this CC emulsion contains 53.2% skincare hydrator that applies and penetrates smoothly for deep nourishment. The emulsion powder coated with Korean traditional herbal emulsion that densely conceals flaws for clear and smooth skin.

As always I do the dot test on the back of my hand. A little backstory for people who don't know, I had an accident with my Rotring graphic pen when I was a kid when I grabbed it while I was dancing (lol I was so random back then while I was drawing, I jumped and danced when I heard my dance music played in the radio) which resulted the pen stabbed the back of my hand and the stain is still there until now. So as you can see in the picture, the black dot doesn't fully disappeared but the emulsion minimized the appearance. The emulsion is pretty between liquid-y and creamy when applied, but once blended it pretty much stays there. Though it doesn't do much for dark flaws like dark circles, but it does correct redness pretty amazingly.

While usually I always have a hard time picking shade and always end up with the lightest shade, sometimes it still doesn't match and make me look too light and doesn't really match with my neck (I have darker neck than my face and collarbone area). But I love how pink beige somehow matches well with my skintone.

sulwhasoo cc emulsion cream review

Right now, I have dry but oily skin with redness and scars, and some blemishes. There are some patchy area around my cheek too all thanks to my dryness. So on the before picture I already applied only moisturizer. After and with flash pictures I only had the CC emulsion on my face and no powder or concealer. It doesn't give me super high coverage obviously, it's only a CC emulsion. But I think, overall it cancels my redness and cover most of my blemishes. This finish is more perfect for my every day look. It's not highly covered with perfect coverage, and it gives subtle dewy look under some lighting as well, giving the natural finish.

I don't have that much oil like I used to, except for the area around my nose which still feels like oil mine after 5-6 hours outside. I read some people said that the CC emulsion keeps their oil at bay during the day, which was the main reason I wanted to try this product. I expected more and had higher hope for the oil control. But to be honest, it's mediocre at best. I tested it for so long, and everyday I see shine on my nose after 3 hours and it's completely oily after 5 hours. But that's probably because I'm super oily on my nose. The finish on the rest of my face is very lovely though it's not flawlessly perfect like some high coverage foundation, but the natural dewy finish makes me look more human and fit for everyday office look. It stays pretty much okay for the rest of the day. The great thing about the CC emulsion is I don't notice much transfer which is super great for me, unlike some creamy BB creams I used to have. I don't leave home until I put it on, after my moisturizer of course. And when I need to go out with friends or would like a full makeup on, I just apply another layer of BB cushion on specific areas and pat some powder on oily areas to make it last longer.

PROS
- It has a mild subtle flowery scent that's pretty lovely
- Lightweight
- Blends quick and easy
- Travel friendly
- No breakouts
- Doesn't clog the pores
- Moisturizes skin and gives better skin gradually
- Light to medium coverage, covers some pores, blemishes and redness
- Minimal transfer
- A little goes a long way

CONS
- Pricey
- Not for people who don't like any scent
- Only 2 shades available
- Not for people who is looking for high coverage
- Average oil control, so blotting is still needed for some with oily skin

OVERALL 4.5 / 5
To sum it up, Sulwhasoo CC Emulsion is a great lightweight CC that gives natural dewy finish. The texture makes it easy to apply and blend quickly especially with moisturizer underneath. The CC emulsion makes my face looks natural and dewy until 4-5 hours. Longer than that, I still need blotting paper for the excess oil on my nose. The coverage is good enough to cancel redness and cover some blemishes, also to even out my skintone. I notice my skin gets better and better as I use this product everyday, barely any new acne and no irritation. Despite the average oil control, Sulwhasoo CC Emulsion is still my HG CC cream and I highly recommend this to anyone with normal to combination skin.

sulwhasoo cc emulsion cream review

Please excuse my weird hair strands, I took the selfies right after I washed my hair and my hair always looks majestic like that after any hair wash lol. And that's all for my review today. I'll be back again this week for another makeup review and more reviews to come. Thank you for always reading and supporting me and this blog ^^

IOPE Line Defining Eyeliner Review

$

0

There's always that one thing we can't be without when we apply makeup. It differs from one another. Some people can't go out without wearing full makeup but at least they have to apply lippies, or another might not go out without their foundation etc. But for me it's definitely eyeliner. I am way more comfortable every time after I apply my eyeliner that I feel a bit weird without it. So, I'm especially very picky about eyeliners. If you've been following my blog for a while, you may have read my other eyeliner reviews before. There aren't a lot actually, cause I tend to stick to my favorite product and stock up when I'm running out.

Up until last month, whenever anyone asked me to recommend them a fabulous eyeliner that's easy to use, no smudging, long lasting, and doesn't need a bottle of makeup remover to erase the eyeliner, I used to say Kanebo Kate Super Sharp Liner in a heartbeat. It was my favorite eyeliner for about a year, but honestly I drop it off my list cause I can't find the product easier here unless on some online stores that sell Japanese cosmetics (and not a lot of them carry this product anymore) or ask someone in Japan to buy me this eyeliner. It can be a hassle but I kept buying it anyway because it's the best that I tried before. I always prefer felt tips liner and I've tried other brands before, from Stila to Etude House, Lioele, Cleo, and Innisfree. None of them satisfied me in the ease of use, thickness and long lasting departments that made me nearly give up to try another brand. But I'm glad I didn't.

This time I decided to try another felt tips eyeliner from IOPE. IOPE is a premier Korean cosmetics and skincare brand under Amore Pacific, just like Laneige, Sulwhasoo, Hera etc. At first I didn't want to expect anything cause by the promotional pictures alone, there was no hype.... or most likely I just didn't understand cause mostly it was in Korean lol. I couldn't find much info about the eyeliner but I decided to give it a try and I fell in love with it.

And now I'm going to share my review on IOPE Line Defining Eyeliner after the jump.

IOPE felt tips eyeliner

iope felt tips eyeliner

From the box packaging alone I could see how elegant and luxurious it is with its navy and gold colors. Somehow I'm always impressed with most of the products with gold packaging like Elishacoy, Sulwhasoo, also Emprani. And now IOPE adds to my impressive products with gold packaging lol. Anyway, there's not much english info in the box at all.

iope felt tips eyeliner

Of course I got the black color :) It is very light and the packaging looks similar to other brush eyeliners. Just make sure to close the cap tightly to avoid quick dryness. You don't want that.

iope felt tips eyeliner

The felt tips looks just like any other felt tips liner in this picture. I thought the same too at first. But I'm serious when I say this: this felt tips by far is the best felt tips I ever tried. It's so dense but not stiff, so it makes precise lines especially for the corner of my eyes without hurting or irritating both my skin and eyes. The thing about felt tips is it'd either feel like stiff brush or very soft and thin brush that it's not comfortable on the skin and doesn't really draw the line the way I want it to be. But IOPE Line Defining Eyeliner is very good in that. It reaches the corners of my eyes and normally I don't use the tips for that part but the upper part of the liner brush. On that specific part of some eyeliners, it didn't give much ink but IOPE's is just perfect on any sides. No leaking, and definitely not drying. Not now at least.

iope felt tips eyeliner

As seen in the first picture, I applied the eyeliner with light strokes, no hard pressures. It's not the thickest black but it looks decent. Besides, I normally always apply 2-3 strokes on each eye to get the eyeline I like. Then I tried to rub them hard, and while they faded a bit, but didn't completely disappear. Then I put my hand under the tap water, and it's still there in the same condition after I rubbed it hard. I was testing if rain would erase my eyeliner which would be bad and embarrassing. BUT, when I rubbed it while it was still soaking wet, umm yeah it totally dispersed into debris.

This could be a pro and cons as always. It's bad during those rainy season. But even if it happens one day when I have this eyeliner on I think I'd just let the rain wet my face without wiping it especially around my eyes so it'd stay still. That's the con actually. The pro is when I go home at the middle of the night super tired and have no energy left to spend more time to wash my face religiously and clean up everything, I can just use a little makeup remover and use water mostly and the thick eyeliner will be disappeared instantly. I get so annoyed sometimes while cleansing my eye makeup cause it wouldn't come off so quickly while after a long day outside. So that's the pro, quick and easy even with just water lol.

iope felt tips eyeliner

Isn't it pretty black on my eyelids? It doesn't smudge at all either as long as it's applied after eyeshadows or powder at least. And it lasts all day long until I remove my makeup.

PROS
- No smudge after proper base makeup
- Lightweight
- Easy to use with precise lines
- Not stiff nor irritating
- No need extra pressure to get the ink out
- All sides of the brush give the same amount of ink, not only on the tips
- Easy to remove with water and oil cleanser/makeup remover
- Quick application, save time
- Dry quickly after applied
- Survive getting soaked by the water to an extent
- Last all day (when dry)

CONS
- A bit pricey
- Can't be rubbed when wet

OVERALL 4/5
It's a very lovely eyeliner for anyone who likes to just draw the line and go. The ink will always there, no need special pressure or angle. It's really great as you can draw the line more precisely without any irritation as the tips won't poke your eyes. Also good for sensitive eyes. As I mentioned above, it normally doesn't smudge if you apply the proper base makeup with matte powdered eyelids (for oily eyelids). I wouldn't say it's waterproof as my waterproof test says otherwise. It can survive being under the water, as long as you don't rub it hard or it would be gone in a flash. I love how this eyeliner can have the thickest black when applied on the eyelids, and it's very long lasting too. No sudden disappearance just by accidental touch or brush. The price might be a turn off but I say it's worth the quality.

I personally love this eyeliner slightly bit more than my favorite Kate eyeliner at the moment, cause of its precision tip. And also because IOPE is easier to find nowadays.

Who loves online shopping? I do! I just can't get my hands off my phone for a minute. Most things I do when I'm on my phone are texting and shopping. For me, who always finds asian and preferably Japanese clothing stores that offer worldwide shipping without hassle, YesStyle is in my top list. They carry a lot of brands from China, Taiwan, Japan, and Korea, not limited to clothing but also beauty, shoes and accessories. While I don't mind browsing and shopping on web browser, I have to admit shopping gets easier on some of mobile apps instead of browser especially when I'm on my phone.

Recently YesStyle just launched their own shopping app for iOS and Android. I always find it easy to browse and look for some new cute dresses on their website, so I was curious to try how their mobile app would be. Read to know more about the app and how to shop on the go more conveniently.

Right after I tap the app icon, I can see the ongoing promotions and some popular categories thumbnails.

I really love how easy it is to find what I need. On the left menu there is a useful menu. When I tap the categories, it gives me another set of categories, which makes it easier to find everything. For example, I pick dresses category.

Then it lets me choose what kind of dresses I'd like to see, with complete list. It's so neat. Like other categories, it also includes the number of items in each category. I choose the A-line dresses.

It also can be sorted by new arrivals, best sellers or by price as well as view the products as list or grid.

After refining my search by color and price, I get to find this cute dress. It looks like what Liz Lisa released last year, in lilac.

japanese fashion

Tap on more pics, and I can see more pictures on the dress details.

The most thing I love about YesStyle is they always provide the size of each clothes in the description. And I don't have to go to the size chart every single time. Plus it's nice to know the dresses details cause I believe every dress has different sizing even if it's from the same store/designer. So it's always nice to be able to see the detailed size and measurements, including the material and wash care.

I can also search brands based on country. It's easier to find let's say Korean beauty brands or Japanese fashion brands, like Koko Kim as example. It's always a plus.

There are also a lot more than just clothes on YesStyle, including men stuff, jewelry, makeup and skincare and many more. With easy to navigate shopping app like this, I don't take a long time to find each and every one of them. Plus, the app is totally smooth and no lag making the browsing and shopping experience more enjoyable and also save time doing that.

Etude House Sweet Cherry Tint Review

I used to be so against tint lip products when it first came out, just because I was pretty disappointed. It used to be liquid tint that looked too dry and unflattering on my already dry lips. But nowadays there are many tint lipsticks released. Previously, I've tried and reviewed some tint lipsticks like Aritaum Wannabe Cushion Tint, Holika Holika Pro Beauty Tint Tok, and Missha The Style Moisture Coating Tint. Among those tint lippies, I've come to love and use the latter the most because of how moisturizing it is. Now I'm going to share yet another tint lipstick that I really love. It's a bit similar to Missha Coating Tint in my opinion, but with different charms.

If you're a fan of Etude House, you must be familiar already with their Cherry Tint series. Previously they have cherry tint in thick liquid form. I've also tried and reviewed Etude House Fresh Cherry Tint in lavender shade before. The tint is also available in tint stick form now, which can be more convenient when I'm on the go. And now I'm going to show you how this Sweet Cherry Tint looks like and performs.

I guess I don't need to introduce Etude House anymore as it's been one of the favorite Korean cosmetics brands among all of us, especially with their cute packaging. So without further ado, here are some of the product pictures.

It's basically a tint stick just like how it looks like in the pictures. It comes in simple packaging, very lightweight and travel friendly. It has manufactured date on the back of the packaging. I got no. 4 PK002. There are 5 bright colors available. PK002 is the softest color among the others. Since I tend to get orchid or purple lip colors lately, I began to start liking soft coral pink again.

It's really simple to open the cap. I was having a bit blonde moment while trying to figure out how to get the lipstick out. Unlike the usual twist mechanism, this tint stick doesn't work that way. Apparently, I have to push the button on the bottom of the tint to push it out. And unfortunately, it can't be push back once done, so better be careful not to push the button million times or it would be hard to close the cap later and even might ruin the lipstick in the process.

Something I learn about computers colors is... we see different colors depends on our computers screen I guess? So depends on your computer screen colors, this lipstick either looks pink with a hint of coral, or completely coral. It's actually pink with a hint of coral in person and on my laptop screen. But when I view it on iPad, it looks totally orangey coral I wonder why.

I really love the color of this tint. It's so pigmented and creamy. Sometimes it feels a bit too creamy to be honest, but it's pretty good for me that has dry lips. Although I don't recommend applying with hard strokes, because even with the super lightest stroke it's already so pigmented I was so surprised. Just like any other lipstick, it transfers. So I always pat the lips with tissue before I eat then I can eat in peace. After I finish eating, I still see the tint on my lips no fading and it's still there, just no more shine. So either I leave my lips tinted like that or I apply a bit more to get the shine back. This tint has a bit flowery scent that lasts for the first couple seconds. The scent and taste aren't to my liking, but it disappears almost immediately so I don't mind that much.

PROS
- Pigmented
- Creamy and moisturizing
- 5 available colors
- Easy and quick application
- Very affordable
- Travel friendly
- A little goes a long way
- The shine lasts 4-5 hours before eating/drinking, but the tint lasts a long time

CONS
- Can be too creamy
- Must reapply after eat and drink
- People who don't favor scented products might not like the scent
- Might not for people who prefers sheer lip colors.

OVERALL 4/5
Etude House Sweet Cherry Tint lives up to its name. First off it smells sweet and probably too sweet for some. But it's a really nice tint stick to have when you're on the go. It's fast and easy to apply, just open the cap, press the button and swipe. It's highly pigmented and creamy. It can be too creamy for me but it moisturizes well, no drying. The shine isn't long lasting especially if I eat and drink which is normal, so reapplication is needed. The tint itself still stick on my lips for a long time though. With the very affordable price, this tint is really a recommended lip product to have.

Ps. If I have to compare with Missha The Style Moisture Tint, which is pretty much similar to Etude House Sweet Cherry Tint, the only difference I notice is Missha's more of a glossy pigmented lip balm while Etude House tint is more like a lipstick. Both has its own pros so it's all back to our preferences.

Pearls and Rhinestones

What kind of accessories do you often wear? When I look at my jewelries box, all I see is mainly pearls and some rhinestones pieces. I absolutely adore pearls. They look pretty and simple enough in any occasions. Today I'm going to share a post about jewelry, and more specifically rings with pearls and rhinestones. I love love love wearing rings. If I could wear all the rings I own, I would. Sometimes I wish I had more than 10 fingers so I could wear more rings, but that would make me look like octopus. Anyway, I got the ring set from Born Pretty Store, an online store with a large collection of accessories and beauty related tools. There are one cute floral owl ring, and a set of 4 cute tiny rings.

Read more to see in details and how I wear them.

The first ring is this floral owl ring. My first impression was it's a really cute and adorable ring with the clay flower and rhinestones. I have a thing for owl accessories so it makes me happier that the owl is with a flower.

This set contains 4 cute rings all in gold bands. It's actually supposed to be nail rings according to the promotional pictures. But somehow it's a bit too big for my fingers or I just failed to tighten the band together. But these rings are a bit loose and some of them were like midi rings for me, while the cat ring fits well as nail ring for my thumb. They are a very pretty ring set which you can get here for only $6.90

This is how I wear them all together. The cat ring is the cutest thing ever. It looks like it wraps its golden tail on my finger which is super adorable. I really love them all especially the pearls ring on my ring finger.

I know the first photo is so blurry cause I took it under bad lighting. But the rings are pretty clear? And yes my chubby fingers might not be a good view but hey I'm proving even chubby fingers can still wear the rings pretty alright lol :) So that is all for today's post, thank you for reading.

And what do you think of the rings set?

Etude House NEW V Line Slim Maker Review

Contouring and highlighting have been a very essential part of my makeup routine. While I don't apply full contour everyday, but highlighting and contouring my nose is a must cause I have such flat and short nose. I tend to stick with 2-3 contour products normally because my nose is one of my most sensitive part of my face and I only use the ones that won't break me out or irritate my nose. Etude House V-Line Slim Maker is one of my most used highlight and contour products since 2013.

I remember Etude House released its first V-line Slim Maker few years ago (read my review here) and this year they released a new version of this product. I've been using the previous V-Line Slim Maker for years and still have it until now. I especially love the highlighter it's just so precious with its subtle glowy sparkles, so I just had to try the new version as well. I got the same shade as the first one. So let's read more about this product and to see if there's significant difference between the old and new versions.

One notable difference I noticed was its box packaging. The previous version has colorful hawaiian theme with the floral prints. I remember back then 2NE1 Dara was still their ambassador (and I purchased the product mainly because of her at the time lol) during their aloha releases. And the new version is more simple with brown background and yellow swirly decoration. There's also english description and directions on the back.

That is how the compact looks like. I got #1 Sun Gold / Wood Brown shade. It's pretty much the same size as the old slim maker. It also comes with mirror and brush. The compact is very lightweight and travel friendly. There's pretty heart and sparkles decoration embossed on the surface, very pretty.

The most noticeable difference from the previous version is the contour shade. It is more light brown which I thought would give more natural finish. The old version has more darker brown for the contour. The highlighter has no significant change though, still pretty and glowy on the skin.

contour highlighter etude house brush

This is the brush that comes with the V Line Slim Maker. It's the same brush from the old version too, if I'm not mistaken. It's the standard blush brush I think? Its bristles are pretty soft and not stiff but I'm more comfortable using long handle brush, so I tend to use my usual brush from Real Technique.

Sorry for the dark swatch, I took the picture at night and flash wouldn't capture the color accurately. As you can see the highlighter looks so light but once it's blended on the skin it looks very pretty and almost not unnoticeable except under some lighting it will show the glow. The contour looks more light orange ish brown on me.

And here it is on my face. I took the outdoor one while standing in my balcony so it looks pretty bright and the contour still visible somehow. While indoor, the highlighter looks pretty with its glow. I personally love it to contour my cheeks and face, but honestly not a huge fan on my nose.

 PROS
- Lightweight and travel friendly
- No breakouts or irritation
- Easy to use
- Pigmented highlighter
- Medium pigmentation for the contour; gives natural look
- Compact comes with mirror and brush
- Affordable price
- Doesn't make my nose more oily

CONS
- Contour shade might be a little too orange for people with pale or fair skintone
- Highlighter might be a little too light and sparkly for people with warm skintone
- Only 2 shades available

OVERALL 4/5
This product is perfect for people who wants to have more defined features especially on the nose and cheeks. The highlighter gives beautiful glow, perfect for the center part of the nose, forehead, and cheekbones and also brow bones. The contour isn't as pigmented as the highlighter but it makes more natural finish. I prefer my contour to be more visible on the side of my face so I have to apply more contour with this V Line Slim Maker. But I like it a bit more subtle and soft looking on my nose, which obviously the contour looks a bit more orange and not so brown on my nose, so I need to powder and blend it in. You can also mix and blend the highlighter and contour and use it as bronzer to have that healthy sunkissed finish.

WHERE TO BUY
Jolse for only $12.58
Right now until April 30th, Jolse is having a mother's day sale with 10%  -30% off on all items. They also offer worldwide shipping and great customer service.

As someone with normally full hime gyaru makeup, contouring and highlighting is always needed and thankfully I can just use this one lightweight Etude House V Line Slim Maker and I'm still content with the finished result. And no I don't touch up, so I find it very convenient to use not only at home, but also when I have to apply my makeup outside. Honestly there's no big difference between the old and new versions but for shade #1 the difference is mostly on the contour powder brown shade, aside from the different packaging design.

What do you think of the new version of Etude House V Line Slim Maker?
